ArthroDynamic Holdings, LLC (ADH) is a privately held biotherapeutics company based in Lexington, KY.
Our Beginnings: ADH took a non-traditional approach to the development and commercialization of their technology, by first pursuing the veterinary medical market through a predecessor company, Arthrodynamic Technologies, Inc. This served to establish comparative disease data in orthopedics and urology, and generated revenue. This approach resulted in the research, development, and commercialization of Polyglycan® , a veterinary medical device for joint lavage and synovial fluid replacement.
Our Future: Based on the commercial success of ADH’s veterinary division, the company is now focused on the human medical applications. Based on the comparative veterinary data, ADH is focused in the areas of orthopedics, urology, and cell based applications for their lead formulation, ADH-01.

- 2003-2005: R&D performed to optimize formulations
- 2005: First patent issued
- 2006: First commercial batches produced
- 2009: Arthrodynamic Technologies, Inc. launches its pioneer formulation, Polyglycan®, comprised of hyaluronic acid, sodium chondroitin sulfate and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine to maintain joint homeostasis and replace lost or damaged synovial fluid.
- 2010-2015: Polyglycan® gains significant market share in veterinary medicine.
- 2016: Arthrodynamic Technologies, Inc. divests the veterinary rights providing additional capital.
- 2017: Arthrodynamic Holdings, LLC (ADH) is formed by a team of experienced professionals with regulatory, business development, and commercial expertise to spearhead the human development program.
- ADH formalizes their lead human product, ADH-01, for clinical trials.
- ADH initiates discussions with FDA to define the regulatory pathway.
